After a quick two-hour drive from Hanoi, Vietnam, the Serena Resort Kim Boi Onsen Spa is surrounded by the tranquility of nature. Looking out over the Boi River, you will hear the gentle sounds of rushing water and see serene rice fields.

Built from natural materials such as stone, bamboo, and wood, the architecture helps you feel part of the natural beauty that surrounds you. Home to over 30 hectares of land, including hot springs, the Serena Resort Kim Boi will help you find endless ways to relax and unwind.

Hot Springs

One of the main attractions at Serena Resort is its hot mineral springs. Reaching temperatures of 109° F, the mineral waters are used at all of their pools and spas. The Serena Onsen bathing and soaking areas are inspired by the Japanese onsens and the water’s minerals can soothe arthritis, blood pressure, and skin problems.

There are six different baths that can accommodate groups of 5, 10, or 20 people, however, if you are looking for something a bit more romantic, or private, the resort can help you find the right fit. Furthermore, many guests soak nude, as is the Japanese method.

The resort also has indoor and outdoor pools, all of which use warm mineral water. The outdoor pool is surrounded by mountains and includes a bar, which makes it a perfect location to relax and enjoy yourself. The indoor pool is a great choice during the winter, as it retains the warmth of the water and is perfect for children to splash around.

Overnight Accommodations

The Serena Resort Kim Boi has seven types of rooms, all are decorated with a rustic design to represent the northwest villages in Vietnam, that range from comfort to luxury.

For those that are planning to spend more time outside than in your room, check out the Executive or Executive Suite. If you’re looking for something a bit more romantic, consider booking the Osaka Hill or Bamboo Bungalow. And for individuals looking to live the life of luxury, make sure to stay in the Rock Villa or Grand Suite.
