Avisit to this charming museum is a great way to spend a few hours and learn more about the rich, diverse cultural genesis of not only Sapa but Vietnam as a whole.
Exhibits and Displays
The quaint stilt building houses everything from static exhibits to more interactive relics such as indigenous art and handicrafts. You’ll be able to witness historical paintings and photos, marvel at some native embroidery, and purchase some quirky gifts.
Though not as engaging and vast as some of Vietnam’s prison museums, the Sapa museum still provides a fascinating outlet for improving your knowledge of the local culture.
The Sapa museum is open from 7:30-11 am before reopening at 1:30 pm and closing at 5 pm. It’s open seven days a week, year round.
