As the capital of An Giang Province, the city of Long Xuyen has plenty to offer to its tourists.
For those who want to have a closer look at the country’s history, it is also the birthplace of Ton Duc Thang, Vietnam’s former president.

There are also museums, such as the Ton Duc Thang Museum and the An Giang Museum, which showcases artifacts, jewelry, and much more.
You can also head over to Lang Toi for food and refreshments. They serve fresh, delicious seafood. Another restaurant, Vuon Trau Restaurant located near the An Giang University, serves vegetarian-friendly meals.

If you want to stay for a night or more, you can stay at the Hoa Binh 1 Hotel which has spacious rooms and friendly staff.
From Ho Chi Minh City, it would take around five hours to get there by bus.
