The Lam River, also known as Song Cả in Vietnam, begins in the lofty regions of Cambodia’s Loi Mountains, traversing through the country’s Xiangkhouang Province before entering Vietnam through the Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces and finally dispersing into the Gulf of Tonkin. This mammoth journey covers 512 km through international borders.
Visitors can cross the Ben Thuy Bridge on the Ca River. The word Ca means ‘’first’’ in Vietnamese, perhaps referencing its importance.
