Although there are no major festivals that take place in Hanoi during November, it  is still an excellent time to enjoy all that Hanoi has to offer.

Visit the Tay Tuu Flower Garden in November to view the colorful flowers before locals begin preparing the flowers for the Tet Festival in January. 70%-80% of flowers are made up of roses in the Tay Tuu village, but there are also many other flowers, such as dahlias, gerberas, lilies, sunflowers, daisies, and more. On the first day of every month, the Tay Tuu Flower village holds a market.

To escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy nature, visit Ba Vi National Park, located approximately 60 km from Hanoi. November is one of the best months of the year to visit this nature reserve as wild sunflowers begin to bloom, and the weather is dry and comfortable. Here you can explore breathtaking hiking trails, a natural hot spring, biodiverse wild plants and animals, and more.

Tips for Visiting Hanoi in November

November is one of the best months to visit Hanoi to explore the city’s delights in comfortable temperatures that are dry and not too warm or cold. This is the last season of the year to enjoy the beauty of Hanoi’s fall season, which is characterized by warm sunlight, gentle winds, and the changing of the leaves.

It’s comfortable enough to wear a t-shirt during daylight hours in November. By nightfall, it may be best to wear a long-sleeved shirt and jeans as temperatures drop slightly, and a cool breeze begins to blow throughout the city.

Rainy days can be fairly cold due to the effect of the monsoon, so it is recommended that you carry proper rain gear as this weather can be unpredictable. Low prices are a highlight of November in Hanoi, so keep that in mind when making your travel plans!
