The Best Months for Golfing in Vietnam
For the country as a whole, the best time to golf in Vietnam is during the winter to early spring, from January to April. There isn’t as much rain during these months, and the temperature is moderate. Keep in mind that Lunar New Year also falls during this time frame, so there may be larger crowds in addition to more events to do.
Another good time of year to golf in Central Vietnam is in May and June. During this season, going further north, you’ll find more rain, and in Southern Vietnam, it’s too humid for most people’s liking. July through September will also be rainy, but cooler weather after a light shower might be appealing to some.
The least favorable time of year for golfing all over Vietnam is October through December when typhoons can appear unpredictably.

Visiting Central Vietnam for golf is better planned for the first half of the year when the weather is more manageable, but some of these courses are worth the effort, even on a rainy day. There are a handful of golf courses near Da Nang that are worth visiting if you have the time.
