Located in the Trang Bom District in Dong Nai Province, the multi-tiered Giang Dien waterfall is a popular attraction for tourists and natives to enjoy one of nature’s wonders. At only 50km/31 miles and roughly a 2-hour ride from Ho Chi Minh City, this is an ideal destination for a day trip outside of the metro area.
The area surrounding the waterfall is full of hills, flowers, animals, and forests, all offering seasonal varieties all year long. However, the best time to visit is during the dry season which runs from November through April, when the water looks its cleanest. It’s possible to see it during the rainy season, but the natural precipitation makes the waters look muddier.
